Are you searching for a great tasting, caffeine free tea, that has a little zip? Well we think we have found a winner here with Trader Joe’s Organic Mint Melange Tea.
We both just love tea! We enjoy all kinds of tea but usually stick to a basic black tea (Trader Joe’s Irish Tea) for the majority of our tea drinking. But like everything, there comes a time when you want a change, or after a meal when you want some tea but do not want to drink any caffeine.
This is the perfect tea for you to try
This mint mélange tea is actually a blend or mixture of peppermint, lemon grass and spearmint, so it is not just a plain mint tea. Those folks at Trader Joe’s really must understand tea blending as well as tea drinkers because they created a winner here.
There is a nice blending of the flavors between the peppermint and the spearmint, with a sorta undertone of lemon flavor in there somewhere. Now I love many kinds of mint products (gum, teas), but some of them (especially spearmint flavored items) seem too harsh for my tastes.
This is why I think the blending of the different mints and the lemongrass really makes this product a winner.

I would love to try this tea, but I live in Montana and we have to drive 425 miles to the closest Trader Joe’s!!
The next time you get near a Trader Joe’s I really recommend that you try this tea. I really LOVE it! Maybe I should consider starting a Trader Joe’s mail order service?? What do you think?? Cheers! Kris
I brought this when I was in Oakland and have 1 tea bag left, I’ve been saving it so I didn’t forget the name of it so i can order some more! Does anyone know how I can order some of these for shipping to Australia?
Trader Joe’s is just about to open in Kansas City (Summer 2011) check back with me then, and I will see if they have this tea… If yes, then I will ship some to you in Australia. I LOVE this tea and can hardly wait until I can enjoy it again! Krist

I have not had any luck with Trader Joe’s stores shipping products in Tucson… They tell me they are not set up to ship stuff… I checked with Amazon (as sometimes they have Trader Joe’s products) but I did not see this tea on offer. I will try and drive by the new store space today and see how the construction is coming along.

This tea is wonderful. Makes the best refreshing iced tea, put a mint leaf in & it is exactly like what they serve at Cheesecake Factory.

Bought this tea during my first trip to Trader Joe’s yesterday. I am enjoying it now and it is wonderful. I am a fan of peppermint tea but this has the added flavor of spearmint. Tried a more expensive brand with almost the same blend and this one wins hands down.
